Hey, it has been a loooong time since I’ve posted to my blog here, let’s fix that!
Returning to making smut after a big hiatus means there’s a whole wasteland of sites and accounts that either don’t exist any more, or exist in a shell of their former selves. Getting things all back in order is a huge task and I’ve just been chipping away at things
Tumblr is over thanks to porn purges. Twitter is over thanks to fascism and AI. My subreddit was deleted as “unmoderated” which I guess means a bot got to it? Everything was removed from my pornhub account at some point. gfycat is gone, I think for a while stuff was redirecting to redcat or redgif or something but I don’t even know any more. Patreon keeps updating their rules so that I don’t even know what is actually allowed there and what isn’t. I also discovered a site that automates scraping of Patreon posts
Sometimes it’s best to just let the past die
But…
- Bluesky is an excellent replacement for Twitter, and has become my main social media
- I’ve started posting stuff on Hentai Foundry and one of the Rule34 sites
- I restructured my Patreon into a tip-jar style thing. All the old stuff is still there, but new stuff won’t be. I’ve done monthly update posts this year and I think I’ll try to continue that as long as I’m still making new smut
- Discord is still going and after Bluesky is probably the best way to stay up to date on what I’m making, there’s also a patron-only channel where I post some WIP stuff if you’re into that
Other cool news: I took some commissions in January, they’re going dirt cheap because I’m short on cash but I think the process has been rewarding and the results have been really cool! If this is something you’re interested in, keep an eye on Bluesky and my Discord server to know when I’m taking commissions
Now I’ve written an update post, I’m going to spend some time uploading all the new stuff I’ve made and mayyyybe fixing some of the old posts that now have a ton of broken links
